Hello, I'm going to be in Paris with my partner on August 31. It's a one day stop on a cruise.

We're hoping to take a tour of Paris from view of a home cook. I'm interested in markets, food and pastry shops and a nice lunch.

I work for the blog Apartment Therapy's TheKitchn and plan to blog about some of my experiences.

Since my time there is so short, I thought it might be helpful to hire a guide. You were recommended to be on the Chowhound boards (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/542835).

Please let me know what you think. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi chris and thanks for your interest. I have to publish your comment because it is the only way I can tell you that I don't know how to reach you. I'll be happy to organise a one day tour for you -- just post another comment leaving your contact information, I won't publish it.

I am interested to have lunch with you at a nice (and relatively inexpensive) Parisian restaurant and "pick" your brain about how best to enjoy and critique/analyze good cuisine. Is this possible?

Of course. You can email me at zejulot@gmail.com .
